Do the people coming into my house get background-checked?
Every single one, before they ever meet a client. We take that seriously since it’s someone’s home and someone’s pet.
What actually happens during a visit?
It depends on what you’ve asked for, but a typical stop could include a walk, fresh water, feeding, medication if needed, some playtime, cleaning up after them, and a quick once-over to make sure everything’s fine before we head out.
How long is each visit?
That’s really up to your pet and what you’re looking for we’ll talk through it during the consultation and land on something that fits.
What about puppies or older dogs, can you handle those?
Definitely. Puppies usually need more frequent, shorter stops and extra potty breaks. Older pets often do better with a slower pace and a bit more patience around mobility. We adjust either way.
Can someone give my pet their medication while you're there?
Yes, as long as it’s part of the normal routine and you give us clear written instructions.
I'm a little nervous about someone having access to my house, how's that handled?
We follow exactly the access instructions you give us, treat keys and entry with care, and make sure everything’s locked up properly before we leave. No shortcuts there.
Do I get to see how the visit went?
Yes, you’ll get a GPS-tracked walk report and photos after every visit, so you’re not left wondering.
Can I just set this up as a regular thing?
Sure can. A lot of our clients do daily or weekly recurring visits. Others just need us occasionally, or for a weekend, or while they’re on vacation.
What if something goes wrong while you're there?
Our caregivers know Pet CPR and basic first aid and know what steps to take if something unexpected comes up. Either way, you’ll hear from us right away, and we’ll follow whatever emergency and vet info you gave us up front.
Will you look after my pet while I'm traveling?
Yes, that’s actually one of the more common reasons people call us. Business trips, holidays, whatever it is, we try to keep things as close to normal for your pet as we can while you’re gone.
I have more than one pet, is that a problem?
Not at all. Plenty of our clients have two, three, sometimes more. We just make sure to learn each pet’s own routine so nobody gets treated like an afterthought.
